2005-2006 Silver Mountain Ski Patrol
We are always looking for new patrollers. If you are interested in becoming a ski patroller, be sure to check out the Training page and sign up for email info on the navigation bar, or register as a future patroller prospect by using the Prospect Form.

Snowboarders are welcome on our patrol. We even have a program for non-skiers!

Below is a list of what you'll need to do to become a member:
  • Patrol Orientation Day
  • Outdoor emergency care (OEC)
  • Chair evacuation
  • Ski & Toboggan (S&T)
  • In-Snow first aid

  WE ARE recruiting for this year's OEC classes-- if you have a desire to wear the full red jacket, talk to us and let us know who you are. We might even be able to invite you to lunch on the hill; if you're interested in visiting with us, fill out the prospect form, and we will contact you with details.

  Our focus this fall will be those that have a medical background-- EMT's, WFR's, nurses, paramedics and doctors; we are conducting a concentrated challenge course just for you. The class will be conducted over 5 Saturdays, beginning September 12.

  Remember, this could be your "highest" volunteer opportunity, begin the process by filling out the prospect form, and clickin on "submit," and we will contact you with details.

  If you're on the mountain, be sure to stop in to the Aid Room, introduce yourself!
